Raul Brancaccio and Matej Dodig meet in the round of 16 at the 2026 ATP Challenger 75 in Trieste on outdoor clay. The Italian Brancaccio (ranked No. 248) secured a three-set victory over fellow countryman Franco Agamenone in the round of 32 and benefits from home support and familiarity with the surface. Croatian Dodig (No. 209, seeded sixth) advanced comfortably with a straight-sets win over Sumit Nagal and brings slightly higher ranking plus recent experience in Challenger-level clay events. Both players favor baseline rallies typical of the surface, with limited prior head-to-head history and no reported injuries or withdrawals affecting the draw. Trader consensus will likely weigh Brancaccio’s local momentum against Dodig’s seeding and ranking edge in what appears a competitive matchup.
