Forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models indicate a high near 93°F for Atlanta on September 17 under sunny skies and light northeast winds, positioning 90-93°F ranges as the dominant market outcomes. These conditions support efficient daytime heating with minimal cloud cover or precipitation to moderate temperatures, consistent with recent days featuring highs in the low-to-mid 90s. The September climatological average high near 83°F underscores the above-normal warmth, driven by persistent high pressure and southerly flow patterns. With resolution hinging on the official daily maximum at the Atlanta airport station, traders appear to weigh the tight forecast consensus against minor uncertainties in exact peak timing and any late adjustments from updated model runs.
