If the listed company undergoes a merger, this will only qualify for a “No” resolution if the transaction results in the listed company being fully absorbed, dissolved, or otherwise no longer capable of independently conducting an Initial Public Offering. This market will resolve early if the listed company completes an IPO by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. The resolution source for this market is a consensus of credible reporting.US IPO activity has accelerated sharply in 2026, with first-half proceeds already rivaling 2021 levels amid broad sector participation and multiple billion-dollar deals. Recent pricing of several offerings in mid-August, alongside a deep pipeline of late-stage companies including potential mega-listings, reflects improved equity market conditions, sustained investor demand for growth names, and stable monetary policy supporting valuations. Key near-term catalysts include additional S-1 filings, earnings from recent issuers, and any shifts in Treasury yields or Fed communications that could influence risk appetite through year-end. Trader consensus on near-term IPO probability embeds these momentum factors while recognizing macro sensitivities.
