Official National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 20 project an overnight low of 70–72°F under mostly clear skies after a slight late-day thunderstorm chance, aligning with the market's strong consensus on the 70–71°F bucket. A warm, moist southerly air mass combined with light winds and limited radiative cooling under high pressure has kept temperatures elevated, consistent with recent climatological data showing September lows typically in the upper 60s to low 70s. Model runs remain tightly clustered with no incoming cold front or significant wind shift expected overnight, reducing uncertainty for the final observation at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
