Recent National Weather Service model consensus and ensemble runs indicate overnight lows in New York City on September 11 will likely settle in the mid-to-upper 60s°F, driven by northwest winds, partial clearing after daytime heating, and moderate humidity levels that limit strong radiational cooling. These conditions create tight clustering around the 66–69°F bins while allowing upside risk from lingering cloud cover or a slower wind shift that could hold minima near 70–71°F. Historical September climatology shows average Central Park lows near 63°F, yet current sea-surface temperatures and lack of strong cold advection support the market’s elevated odds on warmer thresholds. Updated forecast discussions and morning model guidance expected in the next 24–48 hours will refine these variables ahead of market resolution.
