Missouri voters are scheduled to vote in the November 3, 2026 midterm elections on a constitutional amendment (Amendment 3) which, if passed, would repeal the constitutional right to reproductive freedom, prohibit most abortions, and prohibit gender transition surgeries for minors. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Missouri Amendment 3, the Prohibit Abortion and Gender Transition Procedures for Minors Amendment, passes according to Missouri election procedure. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If Amendment 3 is removed from the 2026 midterm election ballot in Missouri, this market will resolve immediately to “No”. If, for any reason, the results of this vote are not known by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results reported by the state of Missouri, specifically the Missouri Secretary of State (https://www.sos.mo.gov).**Missouri Amendment 3**, a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on the November 3, 2026 ballot, would repeal the voter-approved 2024 reproductive freedom measure and reinstate limits on abortion (with exceptions for medical emergencies, fetal anomalies, rape, or incest up to 12 weeks) while embedding a permanent ban on gender transition surgeries, cross-sex hormones, and puberty blockers for minors. State law already restricts these procedures, with the hormone and blocker moratorium set to expire in 2027. An August 2026 SLU/YouGov poll of likely voters showed the measure trailing narrowly at 43% support versus 44% opposition, with 13% undecided. Opposition campaigns have highlighted the effort to overturn the prior voter-approved rights expansion, while recent polling trends and historical patterns for ballot measures suggest softening support closer to election day. These factors align with trader consensus assigning a 76% implied probability that the amendment will not pass.
