Recent forecasts for Panama City, Panama, place the September 15 high near 30°C under typical rainy-season conditions driven by the Intertropical Convergence Zone, elevated humidity near 80%, and scattered afternoon convection. Official climatology shows September maxima averaging 30°C, with model consensus from recent runs indicating limited deviation absent unusual clear-sky windows that could permit brief spikes. Trader emphasis on the 33°C-or-higher outcome at 50% implied probability aligns with historical variability in peak readings during periods of reduced cloud cover, while lower bins around 28–32°C capture the base forecast range; updated model guidance and local observations in the next 48 hours remain the key variables that could shift these probabilities.
