Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to partly cloudy skies and scattered afternoon thunderstorms over Miami on September 9, supporting overnight lows near 79°F amid typical late-summer tropical moisture. High dew points near 75°F and light easterly winds limit radiative cooling, while variable cloud cover from evening convection introduces uncertainty in exact minimums. This explains the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 78–81°F bins, with meaningful probability on cooler outcomes if clearer skies develop or warmer ones if storms persist overnight. Historical September 9 lows average 77°F, but current conditions align with recent above-average minima. Updated model runs and local observations ahead of the date will refine these thresholds.
