This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the nomination for the Democratic Party to contest the PA-10 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The Democratic primary will take place on May 19, 2026. If no nominee is announced by November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Democrat sources, including https://democrats.org/. Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Janelle Stelson holds a commanding position in the Pennsylvania 10th District Democratic primary due to her substantial fundraising edge, broad party endorsements, and strong name recognition from her narrow 2024 general election challenge against incumbent Republican Scott Perry. With the primary set for May 19, recent reporting highlights her multi-million-dollar cash reserves and establishment backing as decisive factors over limited opposition from Dauphin County Commissioner Justin Douglas and other lesser-known candidates. Trader consensus reflects this structural advantage in a low-turnout contest. Late developments such as unexpected scandals, health issues, or shifts in voter mobilization could still influence the final outcome before polls close.
