Gears of War: E-Day holds a modest lead in the Best Multiplayer market at 19.5% implied probability, driven by its August open beta showcasing refined Versus 4v4 modes and the expanded Horde Siege PvE experience with class-based squads and larger maps. Marathon follows closely at 13.5%, supported by ongoing Season 2 updates including the permanent Vault Breaker roguelite PvE mode and cross-platform retention efforts since its March launch. The field remains highly competitive, with Deadlock, Subnautica 2, and others differentiated by extraction mechanics, live-service depth, and historical franchise appeal, while voter priorities hinge on post-launch player engagement and critical consensus on online infrastructure ahead of mid-November nominations and the December ceremony.
