Official forecasts from China's Meteorological Administration project a minimum near 17°C in Beijing on September 21 under clear skies and light southerly winds, following recent multi-cloud days with overnight lows of 18–20°C. Radiative cooling during the calm, clear night supports this range, consistent with climatological September baselines of 15–18°C, while model runs show limited disagreement on wind shifts or residual moisture that could alter the outcome by 1–2°C. Trader-implied odds near 47% for 23°C or higher versus 46% for 13°C or below reflect uncertainty in exact nocturnal cooling rates ahead of the overnight observation window.
