Traders see elevated odds on a Shenzhen low of 22°C or below (34.5%) versus 32°C or higher (29.5%) because early-September subtropical monsoon conditions allow rapid swings between cooler northerly intrusions and retained heat from the South China Sea. Model ensembles show modest disagreement on the strength of any approaching frontal boundary or weak typhoon remnant that could enhance nighttime radiational cooling versus persistent high humidity and cloud cover that would keep minimums elevated. Historical September lows in Shenzhen average near 25–27°C, yet the tight clustering of probabilities around 25–28°C reflects genuine forecast uncertainty two days out, with resolution hinging on official China Meteorological Administration observations and any late adjustments from updated regional models.
