Current National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for Atlanta on September 16 indicate highs near 90°F under persistent sunny skies driven by a stable high-pressure ridge, light easterly flow, and minimal cloud cover or moisture. These conditions favor strong daytime insolation and limited boundary-layer mixing, pushing temperatures several degrees above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 83.4°F. Trader consensus clustering on 88–91°F ranges reflects tight model agreement on peak values, with small differences arising from variations in afternoon mixing depth or slight dewpoint adjustments; updated model runs or observational shifts in the next 48 hours could refine the exact maximum before resolution.
