Official Met Office forecasts for London on September 9, 2026, indicate a maximum of 19°C under sunny spells turning partly cloudy with light winds and minimal rain risk, aligning closely with the historical average high of about 20.8°C at Heathrow. Recent model consensus and observational trends support afternoon peaks near 19–20°C as the most probable outcomes, driving the strong market-implied odds for those thresholds. Mild early-autumn conditions, including stable high pressure and seasonal solar input, limit significant deviations, though minor forecast adjustments from cloud cover or localized heating could influence final readings. Updated agency briefings and real-time temperature data releases through the afternoon remain key variables for traders.
