Recent ensemble forecasts from multiple models place Qingdao’s September 7 maximum near 26–28 °C under clear skies and light northerly flow, with sea-breeze moderation from the Yellow Sea capping further warming. Coastal stations typically record 1–3 °C lower peaks than inland analogs during early September, when climatological highs average 26 °C. Trader emphasis on 29–31 °C outcomes appears driven by small ensemble spreads showing possible stronger subsidence or delayed marine influence, while lower-probability cooler bins reflect the risk of earlier cloud build-up or stronger onshore winds. Official China Meteorological Administration guidance and updated high-resolution runs expected within 48 hours will likely tighten the distribution ahead of market resolution.
