Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Miami point to overnight lows in the upper 70s on September 22, driven by persistent southerly flow, high humidity above 85 percent, and scattered to numerous thunderstorms that limit radiational cooling. These conditions align with the climatological average low of 76.6 °F for the date and keep the 76–77 °F bin as the market favorite at 36.5 percent implied probability. Warmer 78–79 °F outcomes gain support if cloud cover and rain persist through the night, while cooler 74–75 °F or lower bins would require an unexpected northerly shift or clearer skies allowing stronger cooling—scenarios not currently favored by official forecasts. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion remain key near-term catalysts.
