Recent ensemble forecasts from the DWD, ECMWF, and ICON models show Munich under a warm southerly flow with mostly clear skies and light winds overnight into September 8, supporting minimum temperatures of 16–18 °C. This places the expected low well above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 11.1 °C and explains why market-implied odds favor outcomes clustered in the mid-teens while still assigning meaningful probability to cooler bins amid typical model spread near 1–2 °C. No strong cold advection or significant cloud cover is indicated in the latest runs, though final overnight model updates and observational data from the early morning hours could still shift the precise minimum before resolution.
