Vail Resorts' recent string of earnings misses and repeated guidance reductions have anchored trader sentiment toward a "no" outcome on the next quarterly beat at 77.5% implied probability. Fiscal Q3 2026 results, released June 8, showed EPS of $8.81 missing consensus estimates near $9.00 amid a 7% year-over-year revenue decline to $1.21 billion, driven by record-low snowfall and warm temperatures that cut skier visits 15-17% across western resorts. Management lowered full-year fiscal 2026 net income and Resort EBITDA ranges multiple times, while early 2026/27 season pass sales through May fell approximately 10% in units. Q4, a seasonally loss-making period with consensus EPS around -$5.30, faces similar demand pressures despite cost-efficiency initiatives targeting $106 million in annualized savings. The September 28 earnings release remains the key near-term catalyst.
