Recent polling aggregates place the Parti Libéral du Québec (PLQ) at 21-24% provincewide support ahead of the October 5 election, with gains concentrated among non-francophone voters on the Island of Montreal and in suburban ridings. This regional pattern produces vote inefficiency that limits seat conversion despite competitive popular-vote numbers, keeping seat projections clustered around 31 in models from 338Canada and Poliwave. Traders have priced the 28-31 and 32-35 seat bands as the most probable outcomes because many francophone ridings remain competitive between the PQ and CAQ, while PLQ strength stays geographically narrow. A late shift in francophone support, stronger campaign momentum under leader Charles Milliard, or changes in undecided voters could expand or contract the final tally within the narrow range reflected in current market pricing.
