Casey's General Stores (CASY) enters its Q1 fiscal 2027 earnings release (due after the September 8 close) with a 93.5% market-implied probability of beating consensus EPS estimates near $6.6–$6.8, reflecting traders' confidence in the convenience retailer's momentum. The company delivered four consecutive beats in fiscal 2026, including a $1.06 (30%) Q4 surprise on $4.37 EPS and 14.5% revenue growth, driven by 5.5% inside same-store sales gains, 42.4% inside margins, and successful integration of roughly 200 CEFCO stores. Fiscal 2027 guidance for 2–5% inside comps, above-42% margins, at least 120 new stores, and 8–10% EBITDA growth further supports expectations for continued outperformance versus analyst models. Potential headwinds include fuel volume and margin volatility plus 5–7% operating expense growth, though the company's consistent execution and loyalty program expansion reduce the likelihood of a miss.
