Recent forecasts from models like GFS and ECMWF indicate mostly clear skies and light southeast to south winds over Cape Town on September 21, supporting daytime heating to a peak near 27–28°C by early afternoon. Stable high pressure and minimal cloud cover allow strong solar radiation, consistent with typical early-spring conditions in the region’s Mediterranean climate, where highs often reach the mid-20s°C. Slight model spread in peak timing and wind strength creates the close market spread between 27°C and 29°C outcomes, with any late-day sea breeze or minor moisture increase potentially capping the maximum below 28°C. Updated runs from official agencies will refine the exact high ahead of resolution.
