Recent PAGASA forecasts and supporting model runs for Metro Manila on September 20 point to a daily maximum near 32°C under southwest monsoon influence, with partly cloudy skies, isolated thunderstorms, and moderate humidity expected to limit stronger heating. This aligns with typical September climatology for the region, where urban heat island effects at official stations can push readings 1–2°C above rural baselines. Trader-implied odds favor 33–34°C as the most likely outcomes because recent model guidance has trended slightly warmer during afternoon hours before any convective rain develops, while lower probabilities for 35°C or higher reflect the capping influence of cloud cover and precipitation. Updated observations from PAGASA later today will determine the final recorded high.
