Recent model consensus from Environment Canada and GFS runs points to an overnight minimum near 10–11°C for Toronto on September 21, driven by persistent northeasterly winds and extensive cloud cover that limits radiational cooling. These conditions suppress the potential for sharper drops below 8°C while also capping daytime highs around 18°C, keeping the daily low firmly in the middle range rather than extremes. Ensemble spread remains modest given the short lead time, though minor shifts in wind direction or cloud timing could nudge readings by 1–2°C. Updated official forecasts and next model cycles tomorrow morning represent the key near-term data points that could refine market-implied probabilities around the 10°C threshold.
