Current forecasts from Singapore’s Meteorological Service indicate a highest temperature of 32–33°C on September 20 under prevailing southwest monsoon flow, with southeasterly winds and localized afternoon thundery showers expected to develop. These conditions introduce moderate uncertainty in peak readings, as cloud cover and rainfall timing can suppress surface heating while humidity levels above 70% limit further warming. Official outlooks project daily maxima in the 33–34°C range for the period, consistent with September climatology, yet recent model runs show slight downward adjustments tied to increased shower activity. Traders appear to weigh these near-term variables heavily, with resolution hinging on the precise maximum recorded at official stations before evening cooling sets in.
