Official National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 20, 2026, project a high near 91°F under mostly sunny skies with light easterly winds and only a slight afternoon storm chance, aligning with the market's strong consensus on the 90-91°F bin. This above-average reading—versus the 1991-2020 September 20 mean of 82°F—reflects persistent warm, stable atmospheric conditions with minimal cloud cover or precipitation to suppress daytime heating. Model consensus shows limited variability, keeping higher bins like 92-93°F at low implied odds while rendering sub-88°F outcomes unlikely absent unexpected cooling. Updated NWS guidance and real-time observations will refine resolution as the day progresses.
