Official Malaysian Meteorological Department guidance and multiple models indicate a hazy, thunderstorm-prone day on September 19, with maximum temperatures most likely between 31–34°C. Persistent haze reduces incoming solar radiation and may cap afternoon heating, while scattered convection and southeasterly flow introduce cloud cover that further limits peak values. Hourly guidance from sources such as Yr and Ventusky shows afternoon readings commonly reaching 31–32°C under overcast or rainy conditions, supporting the market’s tight clustering around those levels. Official maxima near 34°C remain possible only if haze thins and storms stay isolated, creating the narrow spread between the leading 31°C and 32°C outcomes.
