Recent forecasts from multiple models place Mexico City’s September 19 daytime maximum in the 22–26 °C range, with several runs supporting a peak near or above 26 °C under partly cloudy skies and limited afternoon convection. Seasonal norms for late September at the city’s 2,240 m elevation average 24–25 °C highs, but scattered showers and increased cloud cover—driven by a lingering moist airmass—can suppress temperatures by 1–3 °C through reduced insolation. Official Servicio Meteorológico Nacional guidance and ensemble guidance continue to show modest warming potential if diurnal heating overcomes modest rain chances, keeping the 26 °C-or-higher bin as the market leader while preserving uncertainty ahead of the next model update cycle.
