**The official maximum temperature recorded at Los Angeles International Airport on September 19, 2026, reached 76–77°F, producing the market’s near-certain 100% consensus on that narrow bin.** This outcome aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of approximately 76°F for the date and reflects typical late-summer conditions dominated by the marine layer and persistent onshore flow that limited daytime warming. National Weather Service observations show light winds, high morning humidity, and afternoon clearing that kept readings from exceeding the mid-70s. Because the market resolves on verified station data rather than forecasts or broader regional readings, only an unreported measurement revision or a different official station designation could realistically alter the result—both of which are improbable after the close of the observation period.
