Recent model consensus for Panama City points to a typical late wet-season pattern, with daytime highs shaped by high humidity, light winds, and afternoon convection that often caps temperatures through evaporative cooling and cloud cover. Official guidance shows maxima near 30–31°C on September 19, aligning with the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 31–32°C. Subtle differences among leading outcomes hinge on the precise timing and intensity of showers: earlier or stronger storms favor the lower probabilities near 30°C, while delayed development could allow brief spikes toward 33°C. Historical September averages hover around 30–31°C, and the narrow spread in trader positions reflects this limited variability plus the short forecast horizon before resolution.
