Persistent upper-level ridging has sustained unseasonably warm conditions across north Georgia, with National Weather Service forecasts showing overnight lows of 71–73°F for September 19 in Atlanta amid highs in the low 90s. This setup, driven by an easterly wave increasing moisture and thunderstorm chances by afternoon, keeps the daily minimum well above the 65°F threshold while well below any 84°F reading. Model consensus and climatological baselines (average low near 64–65°F) support a narrow range around 70–72°F, though small shifts in cloud cover, wind, or timing of convection could adjust the exact minimum before resolution. Traders appear to weigh these near-term forecast details against historical variability in late-summer minima.
