Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Atlanta's overnight low on September 21 will likely settle near 71°F amid a lingering warm, moist air mass with light easterly flow and afternoon thunderstorm chances. This aligns with recent observed lows in the upper 60s to low 70s and keeps the most probable range in the 70–73°F bins, though partial clearing overnight could allow modest radiational cooling. A frontal passage and drier air expected mid-week may bring cooler readings by September 23, introducing some uncertainty in the exact minimum. Historical September 21 averages near 64°F provide context, but the current pattern favors above-normal temperatures supported by trader positioning around the 65°F threshold.
