Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Miami on September 16 points to a low near 79–80°F amid scattered thunderstorms, northeast winds of 6–11 mph, and typical late-summer humidity levels above 80 percent. These conditions align with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 76.9°F and recent early-September observations in the mid-70s to upper 70s, offering little support for readings at or below 71°F. Market-implied odds favoring the coolest bin likely reflect trader emphasis on forecast spread, possible model divergence in steering patterns, and historical precedent for occasional dips, even as official outlooks show only modest day-to-day variability ahead of the resolution window.
