**Forecast models and official guidance from Chinese meteorological sources indicate a minimum temperature near 23°C for Shanghai on September 22, 2026, under mostly cloudy skies with light northeast to east winds.** Multiple 7–10 day outlooks released around September 20 consistently project overnight lows of 22–24°C (roughly 72–75°F), aligning with the market’s leading 23°C outcome at 39% implied probability. Partly cloudy conditions and modest humidity levels support gradual radiative cooling overnight without strong cold-air advection or precipitation, keeping the floor near this range. Nearby probabilities for 21°C and 24°C reflect typical forecast uncertainty and model spread in the final 48 hours, while lower odds for 20°C or below highlight the limited likelihood of sharper cooling given current steering patterns and seasonal norms for late September. Updated model runs and Shanghai Meteorological Bureau briefings in the coming day will provide the clearest signals for any last-minute shifts.
