Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate sunny conditions and highs near 90°F for Atlanta on September 15, supported by easterly winds of 10–15 mph that limit afternoon mixing. This aligns with the market's tight clustering around 90–93°F outcomes, as traders weigh the consensus forecast against minor run-to-run variations in peak temperature. Above-normal readings relative to the 83.7°F climatological average reflect persistent high pressure and clear skies, while historical records show such values occur periodically without approaching the 97°F all-time high. Updated model outputs and any adjustments to wind or dewpoint forecasts over the next 48 hours represent the main variables that could shift probabilities between the leading bins.
