Recent forecast guidance from the Korea Meteorological Administration and international models points to daytime highs of 30–32°C in Busan on September 2, shaped by a transitioning early-autumn pattern with residual warm, moist air from the Yellow Sea (surface temperatures ~4°C above average) and variable cloud cover from recent thunderstorm activity. Coastal sea breezes and expected scattered showers are moderating peaks relative to the record July heat, while steering patterns limit stronger warming. Market-implied odds favoring 32°C and 33°C reflect this consensus range, with lower probabilities for extremes aligning with historical early-September baselines near 27–28°C and the damping influence of increased humidity and precipitation. Updated model runs and KMA briefings through September 1 will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
