Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate overnight lows in Toronto on September 2 will likely range from 19–22 °C, with warm, humid southerly flow and scattered thunderstorms expected to limit radiative cooling. Current runs show minimums near 20–21 °C under mostly cloudy skies and light winds, keeping temperatures above the long-term September 2 average low of roughly 16 °C. Trader sentiment remains balanced between the 19 °C and 22 °C outcomes because small differences in cloud cover, precipitation timing, or wind speed can shift the exact minimum by 2–3 °C. Updated guidance from Environment Canada and ensemble model runs over the next 24–48 hours will clarify whether conditions trend cooler or remain elevated.
