**Persistent high pressure and clear skies under a summer-like pattern are keeping overnight lows in Atlanta elevated for September 2, with official National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus centering the minimum temperature in the lower 70s.** Light winds, high dew points near 70°F, and minimal cloud cover limit radiational cooling, preventing the temperature from dropping to the historical average low of ~69°F. Multiple runs show the overnight minimum stabilizing around 73–78°F depending on exact timing of the daily minimum (typically early morning hours) and minor variations in boundary-layer moisture or wind. This produces closely matched market-implied odds across the 70–81°F range, as traders weigh small differences in forecast guidance and the inherent uncertainty in pinpointing the precise hourly low. No significant frontal passage or precipitation is expected to alter the setup before resolution.
