Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles International Airport project an overnight low in the lower to mid-60s°F on September 19, driven by a persistent marine layer that traps cooler, moister air near the coast and limits radiational cooling. This aligns with climatological norms around 64°F for mid-September and recent observations showing minima near 65°F amid light southwest winds and patchy fog. Trader consensus favoring the 66-67°F bin reflects model agreement on stable conditions without strong offshore flow or heat advection that could push readings higher or allow deeper cooling. Updated guidance through the weekend reinforces this range, with any shifts likely tied to marine layer depth or wind changes.
