Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and ensemble models show Seattle's overnight low on September 20 stabilizing near 53°F under mostly clear skies, light northerly winds, and high pressure promoting radiative cooling without significant cloud cover or marine air intrusion. This setup aligns with climatological norms for mid-September, where typical minima fall in the low-to-mid 50s amid dry conditions and modest dew points. Recent model runs have shown little shift, supporting trader focus on the 52-53°F and adjacent bins while the elevated probability on 64°F or higher likely reflects hedging around forecast uncertainty or resolution timing. Updated NWS briefings and next model cycles remain key near-term catalysts.
