**Recent official forecasts position 18–19°C as the dominant outcomes for Amsterdam’s highest temperature on September 18, 2026.** Multiple models, including Met Office guidance, indicate a daytime maximum near 19°C under partly to mostly cloudy skies with light southwesterly to westerly winds and low precipitation risk (around 15–20%). This aligns closely with the long-term average high of roughly 18.9°C for the date at Schiphol. Atmospheric conditions feature a mild post-frontal regime following cooler, rainy weather on the 17th, with moderating temperatures as a weak ridge builds. Ensemble consensus shows limited spread, keeping probabilities of 20°C or higher below 5% and sub-17°C outcomes even lower. Traders have priced this narrow, model-supported range heavily, reflecting the high reliability of 24–48 hour numerical weather prediction for surface temperatures in this region and the absence of significant uncertainty drivers such as strong fronts or atypical blocking patterns. Updated model runs and official briefings from KNMI or equivalent agencies will provide the final confirmation ahead of market resolution.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eham
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
