**Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a daytime high near 64–67°F for San Francisco on September 16, 2026, driven by typical coastal marine layer influence and moderate onshore southwesterly winds.** These conditions, common in mid-September, limit warming from the cool Pacific Ocean while partly cloudy skies reduce solar heating. Recent model consensus shows no significant offshore flow or heat advection that would push readings into the low 70s or higher, consistent with historical September averages around 71°F but tempered by current atmospheric stability. The market’s heavy weighting toward 66–69°F brackets reflects traders aligning with these official guidance ranges, where even small forecast revisions in wind or cloud cover could shift the final observed maximum recorded at downtown stations.
