Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological sources indicate a minimum temperature in San Francisco on September 16 likely in the upper 50s°F, aligning with the market's leading 58-59°F and 60-61°F bins. Onshore westerly to southwesterly flow and the persistent marine layer typical of the region in mid-September moderate overnight cooling, preventing sharper drops while limiting daytime highs. Model consensus shows stable conditions without significant synoptic shifts or fog-driven radiative cooling that could push readings into the mid-50s or lower. Historical averages for the date hover near 56°F, but current guidance supports slightly milder values, reinforcing trader focus on the 58-61°F range ahead of final overnight observations.
