Latest numerical weather models, including runs from GFS and ECMWF, indicate a warming trend for Buenos Aires on September 17 driven by a shift to northerly winds advecting milder maritime air under mostly clear skies, with forecast highs clustering between 20–23°C. This setup follows cooler southeasterly flow on the 16th and aligns with typical early-spring climatology for the region, where daily maxima often reach the low 20s. Market-implied odds favoring 24–25°C reflect trader emphasis on potential model underestimation of peak afternoon heating or station-specific measurement nuances, while the 26°C+ bin captures residual uncertainty in intensification timing. Updated short-range guidance and official Servicio Meteorológico Nacional briefings expected overnight will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
