**Forecast consensus from NWS, GFS-based models, and major outlets places the overnight minimum for September 20 in the mid-to-upper 60s°F across Los Angeles, with coastal and airport stations (e.g., LAX) often recording the lowest values due to marine influence.** Recent NWS zone forecasts highlight patchy fog and low clouds overnight into Sunday morning under light easterly or variable winds, followed by gradual clearing and highs in the mid-70s to low-80s. This setup produces typical September coastal moderation, preventing sharp radiational cooling while limiting daytime heating. Multiple 10-day outlooks converge on lows of 64–67°F, with minor spread arising from exact fog timing, cloud cover duration, and microsite differences between downtown, the basin, and the immediate coast. Market-implied odds cluster tightly on 66–69°F because these align directly with the current model blend and historical September climatology for the region; lower outcomes (64–65°F) gain traction only if the marine layer persists longer than expected, while higher readings would require clearer skies and stronger offshore flow. No significant synoptic changes (such as strong high pressure or frontal passages) are indicated in the short term, keeping uncertainty within a narrow band ahead of final overnight observations.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=klax
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
