Recent forecasts for Panama City, Panama, on September 20 center on a maximum near 30–31°C under typical late-rainy-season conditions, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms likely to limit peak heating. Official guidance from regional meteorological sources indicates partly cloudy skies, moderate trade-wind flow, and high humidity that favors scattered convection rather than full insolation, keeping daily highs close to the September climatological mean of about 30°C. Model runs show limited spread, supporting the market’s tight clustering around 30–32°C while assigning lower probability to extremes above 33°C or below 29°C absent major shifts in steering patterns or moisture. Updated short-range guidance expected overnight will refine timing of any heavier rain that could further suppress temperatures.
