Trader consensus heavily favors a 70-71°F high in New York City on September 19 due to National Weather Service forecasts and model runs projecting a peak near 71-72°F under partly cloudy skies with easterly flow. This aligns with observed conditions including morning temperatures in the mid-60s and limited diurnal heating from persistent cloud cover and moderate winds of 5-10 mph. Historical September averages near 75°F provide context for the slightly cooler pattern driven by recent upstream air masses. Uncertainties remain around afternoon clearing or localized warming that could push readings into the low 70s, though official guidance and real-time observations indicate low probability of exceeding the 70-71°F bin.
