Recent model consensus from sources like GFS and ECMWF points to a Milan maximum of 23–24°C on September 18, 2026, driven by persistent easterly flow, widespread cloud cover, and light showers or drizzle that reduce solar insolation and limit afternoon heating. Overnight lows near 17–18°C and high humidity further constrain the diurnal range. These conditions align with the market’s emphasis on 22°C (41.5%) and 23°C (29.5%) as leading outcomes, reflecting trader assessment of suppressed peak temperatures relative to September climatology of roughly 24–25°C. Updated midday observations and any clearing trends could shift implied probabilities toward 24°C before resolution.
