**Forecast consensus from NWS, NOAA models, and local observations points to a daily minimum near 63–65°F for Los Angeles on September 3, 2026, driven by typical early-September marine-layer influence and radiational cooling under clear to partly cloudy skies.** Overnight lows are moderated by the Pacific marine layer, which brings stratus and fog that trap heat and limit temperature drops, while light winds and high pressure prevent strong advection of cooler air. Historical climatology shows an average low of ~64.6°F at LAX for this date, with recent days recording 61–66°F minima. The closely matched market-implied odds across bins reflect trader uncertainty over exact measurement (airport vs. downtown microclimates), potential fog timing, and minor model spread in dew-point and wind forecasts, rather than any extreme deviation from the expected mid-60s range.
