Paul St-Pierre Plamondon of the Parti Québécois leads the market at 71.5% because his party has topped voting-intention polls for roughly two years and holds a clear advantage among francophone voters ahead of the fixed-date election on October 5, 2026. Recent Léger surveys show continued PQ strength and a sharp drop in satisfaction with the Fréchette-led Coalition Avenir Québec government, now at 38%. Christine Fréchette (13.4%) and Charles Milliard of the Quebec Liberals (14.0%) trail as their parties sit further back in current polling, while the remaining candidates register negligible support. Trader pricing reflects the PQ’s sustained polling edge and limited time remaining for rivals to close the gap before the vote.
