SpaceX's incremental progress on Starship's V3 design, highlighted by Flight 13's successful July 24 launch, Starlink V3 satellite deployment, and the upper stage's first soft splashdown with intact heat shield data, underpins the market's slight lean toward yes on full reusability before 2027. Recent booster splashdowns and engine performance gains build on earlier tower catches, while CEO Elon Musk's August earnings comments targeting a Ship tower catch attempt on Flight 14 this month signal rapid iteration toward catching both stages for rapid reuse. Persistent challenges with orbital insertion, regulatory approvals for recovery profiles, and the scale of achieving reliable, high-cadence reflights without refurbishment create the balanced 55% implied probability, reflecting trader focus on SpaceX's Falcon 9 precedent versus Starship's remaining technical and certification hurdles.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if SpaceX or Elon Musk announces that Starship is fully reusable by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
Note, this market refers to the Starship upper stage and does not require reusability for the Super-Heavy booster.
For this market to resolve to "Yes" it is not necessary that an actual reuse occur, only that SpaceX or Elon Musk announces that Starship is fully reusable by this market's resolution date.
The resolution source for this market is announcements by Elon Musk and SpaceX, or their official representatives.
